Since the age of 7, Danielle would play pretend workplace. There, with her fellow classmates and friends, she constructed a workplace that allowed feedback, fluidity, fairness and above all, ingenuity. She would pretend to be a futurist, educator and advocate for fellow pretend workers by giving them a voice.
After graduating with a bachelor’s in social sciences and psychology, with an emphasis in media, economics & marketing from USC in 2020, her first graduation gift was the pandemic. She found herself living at home, working remotely in a toxic culture and feeling extremely isolated – not to mention, misunderstood by tone-deaf leadership.
Her pretend world became a reality and a mission to educate and enlighten the leaders of today, allowing for this generation to be seen and heard. As a digital nomad, experiencing the future of work firsthand, she began sharing her voice on inclusivity in decision making, how to be a supportive, leader to how to be a mindful communicator.
Danielle’s mission is to future proof all organizations to help the next generation of professionals to thrive. Danielle is a digital nomad, who has first hand experience in living the future workplace with the goal is to create space for both leaders and Gen Z.
Danielle landed her first role into the working world as a Community Builder in the HR tech industry, bringing TA, DEI, and HR leaders together via virtual conferences & podcasts. Her mission, helping them to navigate challenges posed by the pandemic, widening skills gap and mental health epidemic.
She fosters a belief in communicating through Danielleisms and Friendtorships to enhance ways of conscious thinking and relationship building. According to Danielle, "I believe that today’s work environments whether corporate or startups are like operating systems that need updating.”
Her leadership in sharing her voice to her generation quickly landed Danielle as one of “Linkedin’s Top Voices for Gen Z.” Word spread, at 22 years old, Danielle was offered a position as Director of Marketing at a Y-Combinator–backed company, enabling employees to shape & build their future through inclusivity, connection and forming a hybrid culture that thrives.
Danielle advises organizations on hybrid/remote leadership, bridging the intergenerational divide and engaging younger talent in the pursuit of inclusivity, equitable practices and values-aligned work cultures. Her work is helping others “Reimagine Work” for the new workFORCE.
Danielle is a renown speaker and has appeared on some of today’s most innovative podcasts, community summits and conferences. Danielle has spoken on topics ranging from inclusive leadership for remote teams, hiring innovation, what Gen Z’s need from the workplace, among other topics.
